This Operational Induction covers working on the Western Power network including power generation, transmission and distribution processes, working with electricity on the network, the dangers of electricity and other hazards that can occur while working on or around the network as well as safe practices. An introduction is provided on the responsibilities of key site personnel when working on the Western Power Network, as well as permits and electrical tagging. This course must be completed by Western Power employees and contractors who require Basic Network Authority.
